On 15 July, from 13:00 to 15:00 CET, the Soil Science Society of East Africa - Kenya Chapter and the Africa Soil Information Community of Practice (CoP), facilitated by ISRIC, are jointly organising a webinar titled "Highlights from the Soil Science Society of East Africa – Kenya Chapter."
The webinar will feature a presentation by Dr. Duba Golicha, Chair of the Soil Science Society of East Africa - Kenya Chapter and Assistant Director of Natural Resource Systems at the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO).
The webinar will also feature Dr. Denny Rigby, Publisher for the Soil Sciences portfolio at Elsevier, who will formally announce the collaboration between Elsevier and the Africa Soil Information CoP aimed at advancing peer-reviewed journal publications from Africa.
The discussion panel will be chaired by Prof. dr. Gerard B.M. Heuvelink, Senior Pedometrician at ISRIC and Special Professor of Pedometrics and Digital Soil Mapping in the Soil Geography and Landscape Group at Wageningen University.
