Partner with ISRIC

ISRIC welcomes partnerships with governments, non-governmental organisations, development partners, research institutes, the private sector and funders. By working together, we can leverage each other’s expertise and co-develop unique projects that enhance our collective impact in strengthening natural resource management to address global environmental and societal challenges.

Let’s collaborate to create lasting solutions grounded in trusted soil information.

With the support of our funders and partners, we contribute to an increased understanding of soils for sustainable land management.

Partner with us in dedicated projects

ISRIC develops and maintains global soil information services that are widely used by scientists around the world, to improve modelling efforts and deepen the understanding of soil’s role in the Earth system.

In addition to its global datasets, ISRIC produces tailored soil information products to support specific applications such as soil fertility management and land suitability assessments. These products are developed in close collaboration with users, including national agricultural research organisations, international development organisations, and agri-businesses to ensure relevance and impact.

Through partnerships with nationally mandated institutes, ISRIC also co-develops national soil information systems as public goods. These systems serve a broad range of stakeholders, including regional and national governments, extension services, and input and financial service providers in land use and agriculture.

Share your soil data with ISRIC

Soil data and information are important for scientific research, policy development, and informed decision-making by the private sector. By sharing your data, you can help improve the quality of global soil information products that ISRIC develops and maintains as a global public good.

Interested in making a contribution? Learn how to share your data with us.

Become a member of the Community of Practice for Soil Information Providers

ISRIC facilitates a Community of Practice (CoP) for individuals and organisations involved in the collection, creation and use of soil data and information as part of their daily work.

The CoP covers all elements of the ‘soil information workflow’ — the life cycle of soil data, from collection in the field to final application and dissemination.

Members of the CoP come together to share insights and experiences, discuss challenges and solutions, and contribute to a shared understanding of soil information development and use.
