How does it work?
If this is your first visit, take a look at our introduction video which will lead you through the most important steps for a successful search.
You can search data by location, keyword, categories, and data type. Each data layer contains detailed information (metadata) and can be downloaded in a wide range of formats. Feel free to share, rate or comment on our data holdings.

ISRIC, the World Data Centre for Soils (WDC-Soils), is a regular member of the ICSU World Data System. We support Open Data whenever possible, respecting inherited rights (licences).
We make our own soil information products available to data users under Creative Commons licenses (CC BY-NC or CC BY for datasets, and CC BY-SA for derived predictions and visualisations). Details are provided in the ISRIC Data and Software Policy.
