WOCAT side event at UNCCD COP13 (6-16 September, Ordos, China)

ISRIC is attending the thirteenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 13) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) in Ordos , Inner Mongolia, China.

ISRIC director Rik van den Bosch will participate in a High Level Segment meeting (10-11 September) on land degradation and the role of governments and the private sector in achieving Land Degradation Neutrality. He will also participate in a side event organised by the World Overview of Conservation Approaches and Technologies (WOCAT): Evidence-based decision-making for scaling up sustainable land management. 

ISRIC - World Soil Information is a pro-active partner in WOCAT since 25 years and is involved in various LDN-related activities and projects.
